This web site is done by a lover of Jamaican music and its purpose is to document the lyrics of as many songs as possible of the golden age of Jamaican music (from 60s to mid 70s).

My special interest in lyrics from the ska, rocksteady and early reggae era is because there are very few lyrics on the internet from this period of Jamaican music.

It's not always easy to understand the lyrics of the songs and the purpose of this web site is not only to document complete lyrics.
Here you will also find uncomplete lyrics: with missing words, missing sentences or even with only a short part of the song. Actually, the main idea of this web site is to get contributions from all of you and to correct and finish those lyrics that have missing parts.

On the Search section there is a column that indicates whether the lyrics are complete, uncomplete or have missing words (MW) or sentences (MS).
You will find the tags ?? and ¿...? within the lyrics that have missing words, missing sentences or missing parts. At the bottom part of the lyrics you will be able to send me your corrections.
